Spider-Man Vs Batman face-off

If you are a movie buff and especially a Superhero fan then you are bound to have seen atleast one movie of Batman and spider-man over the years. And you would have surely once tried to match those two most popular superheroes. While picking any over the other is very difficult, we will here try to find the better one by matching their perspective Power, Popularity, Story, etc.

batman: Super Savy, billionaire, martial arts expert, ready to save Gotham at any cost.
Spider-Man: young, funny, superhuman, more the in-thing.

While there's no question that Batman is more talented and classy, Spider-Man has his own charms.
Batman started

way back in mid-30's has captured the imagination of young and old alike for over 40years until Marvel comics came in existence and it gave the super hero buffs a new breed of superhuman'S saving the world from Super villains. But it was only after Marvel comics started making live action comics that people around the world actually noticed the new world savers. Over the past decade Marvel has totally outsmarted DC comics by huge Margin. What made spider man so popular when it was released in 2001 was that Peter Parker was a ordinary teenage guy with whom audience Could easily connect. Unlike Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent (Superman), a multi-billionaire and other from the outer space.
Spider-Man gave a totally new meaning and life to superhero movies which was in ventilator with just Batman being able to be popular. While Batman is more targeted at upper-class older audience, Spider- Man is for teenagers, kids, mass audience.
Financially Batman has been more profitable with Christopher Nolan trilogy bringing in more then $2 billion at the box office. But it's more due to the superb direction by Nolan and Unforgettable acting by Heath Ledger as Joker in The Dark Knight.
Spider-Man has got a reboot with Sony pictures deciding to start anew the franchise, but there's been lot of opinions that Toby MeGuire was a better Peter then the current one.
Overall if I had to pic one out, it would be Peter Parker over Bruce Wayne. I'm eager to see how Batman turns out in future without Christopher Nolan.
